Chief Operating Officer
Kristy joined Premier Consulting Associates in 2009 and brings 30 years of experience in many areas of health care insurance and the benefits market. Formerly a senior technical services manager of a national insurance carrier’s information and technology department, Kristy has also held the positions of vice president of operations and vice president of self-funded services for a national third-party administrator and a regional insurance carrier. Kristy has expertise in developing and implementing growth plans, new products and services, administration of medical and dental claims systems and preferred provider networks, as well as directing cost management programs.
At Premier, she uses her experience and knowledge to oversee Premier’s operations, including cost management, client retention and compliance. As Premier’s chief compliance officer, she oversees contracts, HIPAA, state and federal law and directs the team who works on legislative updates and client communications and training about legislative issues.
Kristy holds a master’s degree from Lehigh University and an undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University. She is also a graduate of Leadership Buffalo and Leadership Buffalo II graduate programs. She serves on the board of directors for the Family Justice Center of Erie County, and is a member of the Leadership Buffalo Community Facilitation Team. She holds a New York State Life, Accident and Health license. Kristy is a member of the Self Insurance Institute of America (SIIA), the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Society of Professional Benefits Administrators (SPBA) where she has facilitated panels on transparency and provider networks.
