Premier Consulting Associates has been the Allegany/Cattaraugus Schools Medical Health Plan consultant since 2009. They have been a trusted and reliable advisor to the health plan, which consists of 22 school districts, for the last eight years. Premier has advised our health plan in meeting and maintaining both New York State and federal regulations so that the plan is in compliance with required laws. In addition, they have provided us with health industry insight in order for the health plan to make proper decisions regarding health care plan management. Since our inception with Premier, they have recommended many cost containment measures, wellness and lifestyle initiatives, and have taken other actions that have reduced spending increases and thus premium rate increases, below the region’s average. Both the health plan’s medical and prescription drug trends have continued to remain below regional trends, while at the same time maintaining benefit designs far superior to those in the marketplace.
Premier Consulting has been an invaluable resource over the past several years that has helped the city more efficiently manage taxpayer dollars to control the cost of health insurance.
