Premier hosted a seminar at the Ramada in Getzville, NY on March 20th, 2014 to review the First Choice Plan Option and introduce Workterra, our new Enrollment and Benefits Platform. As they arrived, attendees were invited to help themselves to beverages and a complimentary lunch. Shortly following, Catholic Health System’s guest speakers, Michael J. Moley, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Catholic Health System and Mary E. Farallo, Vice President of Human Resource Services at Catholic Health System, presented an overview of the First Choice Plan Option, including its advantages for employers and employees. A quick break was taken after the First Choice presentation, which was the perfect time to indulge in the delicious desserts that were served. Then began the Workterra presentation. Chimane Rhodes, presenter and co-owner of Workterra, flew in from San Francisco, CA to show attendees the capabilities of the Workterra benefits platform. Stand out features include complete customization for each client (visually, benefits, layout, wording used, language, etc.) and – an extremely popular function – the ability to capture and keep track of new Affordable Care Act (ACA) guidelines, such as full time, part time and seasonal employees. Also, Workterra will be rolling out ACA reporting this year, which will give clients on the platform the ability to run their own ACA reports directly from the system.
Premier received great feedback on this seminar and we hope to have more in the future based upon topics that interest our clients. Premier would like to thank Michael J. Moley, Mary E. Farallo and Chimane Rhodes for their presentations. They helped to make this event a great success!
Workterra also provides employees with decision support. It has the ability to store forms for easy access, paycheck model, describe benefits and compare plans. These are useful in guiding employees to the right plans for their needs in regards to features, coverage and cost.
